Moments.

Our lives are a collection of moments. Some utterly painful and full of yesterday's hurts. Some beautifully hopeful and full of tomorrow's promises.

I’ve had many moments in my lifetime, moments that changed me, challenged me. Moments that scared me and engulfed me. However, the biggest ones—the most heartbreaking and breathtaking ones—all included him.

I was ten years old when I lost my voice. A piece of me was stolen away, and the only person who could truly hear my silence was Brooks Griffin. He was the light during my dark days, the promise of tomorrow, until tragedy found him. Tragedy that eventually drowned him in a sea of memories.

This is the story of a boy and girl who loved each other, but didn’t love themselves. A story of life and death. Of love and broken promises.

Of moments.

(Book Three in the Elements Series. Complete Standalone.)

REVIEW by Angie

I’ll be honest, I didn’t know if I was going to love Deep Redemption.  Sure…I was excited for it but I was worried it was only going to involve The Order.  I wanted more Hangmen in my life.

I wasn’t disappointed.

Deep Redemption ended up being my favorite book in the series.  I have loved Rider from day one.  I knew something was off.  I knew he wouldn’t willingly do the things his Uncle did in the past.  I felt bad for him when Mae didn’t want him, though she is definitely with who she is meant to be with.
So I was glad that he was redeemed.

I adored Harmony. She is, by far, my favorite “sister”. The twists and turns in this book left me gasping at times in shock and disbelief.

I still have a few questions about The Order.  Is it the end really?  Will they be back?  It just seemed like that portion of the series wrapped up rather quickly.  Although, I’m glad they are gone at the same time.

If you have loved this series so far I definitely encourage you to read Deep Redemption.  It clears up quite a few things, gives us some answers, makes us ask more questions and leads us into another mess that the Hangmen will be sure to have their hands in.

Marin Thompson thought that her fairy tale had already been written. She was engaged to her high school sweetheart, starting her dream business, and couldn't wait to start a family.

Then tragedy struck.

She was lost, living in a nightmare, hoping for justice every day. The only thing that gave her any amount of joy was her bookstore, Chapter Fifteen.

But when handsome Dalton Young saves her from an encounter that could have ended in yet another tragedy, things begin to change for Marin. She starts to feel things she never thought would be possible again; things she doesn't think she should even be experiencing.

Who is this kind, but mysterious man, and where did he come from? What Marin doesn't know is that Dalton has his own past that he is trying to escape, and the one thing he is hiding may be enough to send her tumbling over the edge in despair.

Can Dalton help Marin move on from tragedy, or is he the key to serving the justice she so desperately desires?

Then, she met him.

Rugged and gorgeous, Loïc Berkeley, is everything she’s ever wanted. Getting him to

London is used to getting what she wants, so loving someone like Loïc is a humbling

disappointment, causing nothing but pain.

Spoiled but witty and breathtakingly beautiful, London Wright is his undoing. From

the moment he laid eyes on her, he knew his life would never be the same. Though

he tries to fight it, he finds himself falling for her.

Excerpt:

“Listen, Loïc,” she starts to say, her voice sweet and kind.

“Just save it, London,” I snap before I can stop myself. My walls and ability to be an

eternal asshole are back in full effect.

Her eyes widen, but she quickly composes herself. She stands on her tiptoes and

gives me a small kiss on the cheek. My body stiffens at the contact. She turns to

leave, and her hand grabs the knob of the door.

But then, almost on instinct, she looks back at me. “I was just going to say that I

really want to be fucked up together. And whatever reason you have for thinking

you don’t deserve someone to love you is wrong. I see you, Loïc, more than you

think I do. You’re a good person, and you deserve way more in this life than you’re

allowing yourself to have. I don’t know why you’re punishing yourself, but you

should stop. Maybe I’m not the person you need, but you need to find the one who is.

Everyone needs love, even a big, bad warrior. Not everything in life should be a

battle.”
