Title: Love Collides (Fate's Love Book 3)
Author: L.A. Cotton
Genre: New Adult/Contemporary
Release: June 30th
Synopsis
Staci Jameson is independent to a fault. But after growing up in the shadow of an overprotective family, and being let down by the only person that promised to always be there for her, Staci locked away her heart and vowed only to rely on herself.
Until a tall dark and sexy-as-sin player reawakens something inside of her.
Kade Ford knows what some people will do in the name of love, and it isn't all hearts and flowers. It's the reason he isn't looking to settle down. Ever. Instead, he plays the field and never gets too close.
Until a tiny blonde firecracker barrels her way into his life and leaves him wanting more.
What starts as a one-night stand turned friends-with-benefits arrangement begins to blur into something neither of them saw coming?or wanted. And when secrets from their pasts catch up with them, the very thing that they are both running from might just be the thing that they need the most. Will Staci and Kade turn to each other or will they let their pasts define their future?
Sometimes two people don't just come together...they collide.
~ Excerpt ~
He looked at me and extended his hand. "We have to dance. Bride's orders."
I blew out an exasperated sigh, my hand hovering over his. Electricity literally snapped between us. "Well, if the bride says, then I guess I'll do as I'm told."
Kade's face cracked a smug smile, as if to say 'oh, you'll do as you’re told, all right,' and his hand curled around mine. The electricity ran up my arm, causing me to shudder.
Knock it off. I chastised myself for letting him get to me.
The other groomsmen found their bridesmaids, and we all made our way to the checkered dance floor. Livy looked so pleased with herself; I shot her a discreet scowl. She was the only person who knew about my brief history with Kade Ford, and that was only because she tricked it out of me after one too many tequilas last year.
Kade wrapped me in his strong arms and started swaying us to the music. "You look so damn fuckable in that dress."
My head snapped up to meet his hooded stare. He looked like he wanted to devour me. Shit, Jameson... PULL IT TOGETHER. I gave Kade my best fake smile and said, "Does that line actually work, Ford? Because I've heard better."
The smug smile he was wearing slowly transformed into a lazy grin only making him sexier—if that was possible. He dipped his head into the crook of my neck and whispered against my skin, "Maybe, but have you ever had better?"
The guy was a walking, talking jerk. I'd known some douches in my time, but Kade Ford was—and always would be—douche canoe number one. The kind of douche that left a mark, but a douche nonetheless.

Blog Tour and Review - Just in Case by Elizabeth Marx
I loved each of the main characters, Scarlett and Revell - but I especially loved the secondary characters like Alex and Polly Anna and Auntie and all of the Marbrys. Their personalities, their quirks, their quick wit... great characters are a huge part of the story for me, and there are so many great characters in Just In Case!
And all of the southern expressions!! Love!! I was born, raised, and still live in the north, but I've always been a southern girl at heart. I absolutely loved experiencing that small southern town and its people through this story.
This book deals with some heavy material. It may not be for everyone.
I found it to be an enjoyable read, and I was cheering for Scarlett and Revell til the very end.
3.5-4 stars.

Title: The Quest For Perkins Vale (Legendary Rockstars #3)
Author: L.B. Dunbar
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: June 22, 2015
Synopsis
Im not sure I know what to think of the girl Ive searched for since I was thirteen; she isnt exactly how I remembered her.
Im twenty-five, a guy and a virgin. Yep, you read that right; Im still a virgin. Why you ask? Because I met the woman of my dreams when she was still a girl and Ive been searching for her ever since we met. Ive saved myself for her, as I believe she saved herself for me. Why again? Because I will love her, like she will love me, when we finally meet, again. Id like to think it was that simple, but I dont really know if she will love me. I only hope she will. If she doesnt, she wont be the right girl for me, because like I said, Ive been saving myself for the woman of my dreams. I just dont know where she isbut I wont stop searching until I find her. That is my mission. My quest.

Excerpt
The Quest of Perkins Vale L.B. Dunbar
Perk walked to his bed and sat with a plop on the edge. It was going to be smaller than the king size bed in his home in the city, but if I thought about it, we slept close to each other every night when we were together. The smaller mattress would make no difference.
It seems that everywhere I turn, someone knew you. Someone knew where you were. Ive been searching for you for twelve years, and I was the only one who didnt know where you were, while everyone else did.
Twelve years? I asked, as I came to sit next to him.
He rubbed a hand down his face and told me about a rainy night long ago in a decrypted home. He claimed he saw me, with Elaine and Elliott, at the side of my sick uncles bed. It seemed a mystery to me that the same man who found me in the tent, had been the boy I scolded outside my uncles manor house. It seemed a bit like destiny that he kept finding me, although I didnt remember him as clearly. He was a boy at a confusing time. He was a teenager at a time of dismay. Now, he was a man.
When his tale was complete, he looked a bit exhausted as if the weight of years got heavier instead of lifting off his shoulders. I was barely dressed as I left the bathroom in one of his large t-shirts. He undressed down to his boxers, which had become his custom and he covered us in his teenage bed.
I had to giggle as I snuggled up to face him.
How many girls did you have in this thing? I laughed, a bit bitterly with hope that the number wasnt large.
None, he said immediately.
Come on. No high school crush? Summer love? Stolen night or afternoon while your mother was away?
No one ever. In this bed.
His words stunned me. Visions of Perk in hallways with women pinned to the wall and barrooms with girls on his lap filled my mind.
Other beds, huh? I questioned in disbelief. Id seen his room the first night I stayed. It was obvious someone had slept there with him.
No girl. No bed. Ever, he repeated, staring up at the ceiling. He had one hand braced behind his head and the other lay between us, which wasnt our customary position. I lay on my side, watching his body grow rigid with each part of my inquisition.
I saw your room that first night. Youd had a girl there. Maybe not to sleep over, but someone had been there. Bitterness was fully in my mouth at this point, as I envisioned someone else sleeping with him in the same manner we slept.
No one in my bed. Before you, he said, blowing out air. I could see his chest rising and falling exaggeratedly. If I didnt know better, I thought he might be trying to calm himself as if he were about to explode at me.
Perk, honest, its okay. I get it. Youre a rock star. Women have thrown themselves at you. It happens, right? I wasnt as convinced as I tried to sound, as if this was okay with me.
Hollister, drop it. Please. Theres been no one else.
Its fine, dont tell me. Im sure youve lost count, I said snippily. Suddenly he turned to face me and the old mattress jiggled under his weight.
Im only going to say this once; one more time. Theres never been another woman in my bed. Theres never been any woman in any other bed with me. There hasnt been any one else.
From the glow of the moonlight outside his unshaded window, I saw his chocolaty eyes sparkle. His face was firm as he emphasized each word.
Perkins, its okay
Hollister, drop it, he interrupted.
I dont need to know. Im just
Im a virgin, he blurted. The words hung in the darkened room.

Title: Shrinking Violet
Author: Jessica Prince
Genre: Mature New Adult
Release Date: July 29th
Cover Design: Staci Brillhart at Quirky Bird
From the time we’re old enough to understand the word, we’re taught to forgive those who wrong us,
so what do you do when the one person you can’t forgive is yourself?
For Cassidy Ashworth, it's a question that haunts her. Forgiveness has become a foreign concept. Self-
loathing is something she’s much more familiar with. Convinced that she doesn’t deserve happiness,
Cassidy is determined to spend every day trying to make up for the wrong she’s done. But no amount of
repenting for the past will ever convince her that she's worthy of a future with Carson Langford.
Raised in the foster system, Carson has always been a throwaway kid. He knows firsthand just how cruel
life can be, how easy it is for people to prey on the weak, and there's nothing Carson detests more than
a bully. So focused on his self-imposed role of protector, he never counted on the beautiful blonde with
the haunted eyes to stumble into his life and shake up his world.
Despite her reluctance, Carson is determined to have Cassidy in his life, but once the truth of her past
comes to light, the question is… will he still want to keep her?
Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat,
humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the
cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That's why
God created central air, after all.
Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy--she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and
sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.
In addition to being a wife and mom, she's also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of
books--romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession
but she just says it's a passion...there's a difference. Not that she'd expect a boy to understand.
Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures
for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.

That’s me––Tingly Simmons––athlete, foreign-language major, professor lover, obsessed idiot girl. Definitely not a frat rat or sorority slut. I’ve never even played beer pong.
I ditched the vapid, soulless high-society life of Los Angeles for the promise of something more meaningful in rural Ohio. Accepting a track scholarship for college, I tried running my way to happiness, but instead I ended up sleeping with my French professor and falling head over heels for him.
When that relationship fell apart, so did I.
Barely hanging on by a thread and using the most absurd coping skills, I was determined to hide behind my past indiscretions. That was, until I met Tiberius Jones. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d learn the truth about love from a six-foot-five basketball player.
He stood there patiently, grinning as he waited for me to move through the doorway or answer him, and pinned me with his unusual blue eyes, so pale in his handsome face against his deep brown skin. His gaze seared right through me, just like it had earlier, before dinner in the courtyard.
Completely unnerved, I didn’t respond. His size was daunting, his large frame loomed over the threshold, and I was struck speechless. Uncertain whether it was his obvious good looks that threw me, or the overtly friendly wide grin on display, I simply stood there for a moment, trying to figure out his angle.
As I took in his long athletic shorts, tight gray athletic hoodie, and the pair of spiky Air Jordan slides on his feet, his left eyebrow cocked up at me like I was the next sideshow. Well, I’d already played that act countless times at home, including but not limited to last year when I was caught with the professor’s dick deep inside me. Now I was all about slipping under the radar, getting by silently and with little fuss.
“Hey, you okay?” he asked, his deep voice interrupting my thoughts. “I’m talking to you . . . you coming in? I’m over here holding the door.”
His pale blue eyes scanned my brown ones as his smile faded. I imagined him knowing who I was and what I did, perhaps mentally undressing me one piece of clothing at a time, wanting to give the slut a whirl.
Oh God, was my name being passed around—again?
Self-disgust consumed me, spurring me to action. “Um, yeah. I am,” I answered, averting my gaze as I shifted my backpack up on my shoulder and stomped through the doorway.
I turned ever so slightly to witness him ducking to fit through the doorframe. It was crazy how insanely tall this guy was. Obviously, he was a basketball player, probably with a huge ego to boot.
I managed to mutter, “Thanks,” as I swept past him, and the door clanged shut behind us.
“Bad day?” he called after me.
What was with him being all smiling and friendly? Was he for real, or was he trying to bait me? I couldn’t help my self-doubt; skepticism was woven so deeply into my personality, I questioned everyone’s motives.
“Bad life,” I tossed back without thinking. For some reason, I felt the need to share my feelings with this stranger, and it scared the shit out of me.
So I did what came naturally to me—I ran. As I sprinted toward the elevator, I caught him heading toward the staircase out of the corner of my eye. I got off on my floor feeling relieved until I heard a heavy pair of footsteps coming around the corner.
Shit.

REVIEW by Angie
Wow!!! Incredible! I loved it and just want to start it over now.
There was very little about Verite that I didn't like. Really the only thing I didn't care about was the insta love at the beginning of the book but I loved the story and the characters so much that it was easy to forget about.
Tingly is just trying to get through the rest of college and forget about the mistakes she made the previous year. She wants to run track and try her best to keep her head low and ignore the gossip. Until she comes across freshman basketball player Tiberious. She thinks that maybe it won't be so bad to have another friend. Not to mention a hot friend.
I adored Tiberious (Ty). I loved how he was straight up with Tingly about his feelings and how he kept fighting for her no matter what. He always had her back.
Verite is similar but yet so different than all the New Adult Romances out there. Sure they are in college but I didn't feel like I was reading something similar to anything else. It has so much depth to it that it makes it hard to write a review without giving too much away.
If you want a book that has a beautiful romance, a dash of comedic flare and vivid characters Verite is the book for you!

Bound By Lies by Rebecca Shea Blog Tour and Review!
I'm not really sure where to begin with this review... I am the girl who doesn't like surprises, who reads the end of the book first 95% of the time. But I didn't do that with Bound By Lies, so every page held a new surprise, a new emotion. And I think I went through every possible emotion while reading this book! Sadness, shock, anger, fear, disbelief, happiness. Be prepared to feel all the feels! Bound by Lies has a little bit of everything - mystery, suspense, romance, heartbreak. You'll be on the edge of your seat!
After reading Broken By Lies, I was totally Team Alex. That ending!! I needed answers!! Bound By Lies provides those answers... and more. It is a total Rollercoaster ride. And although Alex has my heart, Sam may have just won me over. I loved the growth and development of the characters - especially Emilia. That poor girl has been through so much, but instead of breaking her, it makes her stronger. In these books she goes through a total transformation.
I don't want to say too much and give anything away, but if you haven't read these books - what are you waiting for?!
5+ stars!

She thinks he's an arrogant playboy.
He thinks she's an uptight prude.
But he's about to make her an offer she can't refuse.
Nicola Price used to have it all – a great career, the perfect boyfriend, an excessive shoe collection and an apartment in one of San Francisco’s best neighborhoods. But when she gets knocked up and her asshat boyfriend leaves her high and dry, Nicola’s perfectly crafted world comes tumbling down. And stays that way.
Now, Nicola is the proud single mom to a five-year old daughter and living a giant lie. She can barely afford their ghetto apartment and all the men she dates run when they hear she comes with a child. She’s struggling and scared – and nowhere near where she thought she’d be at age thirty-one.
Her saving grace comes in the form of a tall, handsome and wealthy Scotsman Bram McGregor, the older brother of her friend Linden. Bram understands a thing or two about pride, so when tragic circumstances place Nicola at rock bottom, he offers them a place to live in the apartment complex he owns. It’s pretty much the perfect deal, so as long as she doesn’t mind living beside Bram, a man that, despite his generosity, seems to antagonize her at every turn.
But nothing in life is free and as Nicola gets her feet back on the ground, she discovers that the enigmatic playboy may end up costing her more than she thought.
She might just lose her heart.
Those McGregor brothers are nothing but trouble...
How many times do I have to say that I adore everything Karina Halle writes. She seriously can't write a bad book.
The Offer is a contemporary romance (and I say this because it deals with actual adults with adult issues such as parenting, job loss, financial stress). It was a breath of fresh air to read a book with characters in their 30's. Bram was hot. What can I say. I love that cocky, s
Scottish guy and I just couldn't get enough of him. And Nicola was a wonderful character. She would go to the ends of the earth for her daughter Ava. My heart ached for her and all the struggles she was going through. You know the saying "When It Rains It Pours"....well that was definitely Nicola's motto. When Bram steps in to help the best way he knows how, she can't help but take him up on his offer. No matter how much she hates him.
What ensues is one hell of a sexy trip. They dance around each other for several chapters and when they finally collide....holy hell is it hot.
I couldn't help but cheer for them the entire book. Even during Brams bit secret reveal. I wasn't angry. I just felt bad for him. After all, everyone makes mistakes. The only thing I regret about this book was my own stupidity in not reading The Pact first.
5 Stars for The Offer! It was Bramtacular!
