Brittainy Cherry has been in love with words since the day she took her first breath. She graduated from Carroll University with a Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts and a minor in Creative Writing. She loves to take part in writing screenplays, acting, and dancing--poorly of course. Coffee, chai tea, and wine are three things that she thinks every person should partake in! Brittainy lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her family. When she's not running a million errands and crafting stories, she's probably playing with her adorable pets.

Can I give this more than five stars??? Geez....it was incredible.
I have read many, many books. I have read good books and just ok books. I have read great books and not so great books. And then there is another category.....Soul crushing, stick with you forever books. That is the category that The Air He Breathes fits into.
The Air He Breathes rips you apart and puts you together again only to shred your soul again before finally...finally piecing it together. I would be sobbing so hard with heartache, while laughing and fanning myself at the same time. This book brings out every emotion possible.
Brittainy C. Cherry can write anything and I will read it. She just has a way with words.
"You know that place in between nightmares and dreams? The place where tomorrows never come and yesterdays don't hurt anymore? The place where your heart beats in sync with mine? The place where time doesn't exist, and its easy to breathe? I want to live there with you."
Tristan and Elizabeth have both suffered tragedy. The worst tragedies imaginable. But yet they still find each other. They find ways with each other to ease their suffering. The way they evolve with each other is just simply beautiful.
There are other incredible characters in the book. Faye. I can't say enough about Faye. As I was reading and sobbing because my heart ached so bad, she had me laughing through those tears. Sam, such an interesting character he was....maybe we will get to see more Sam one day. Maybe? And Mr. Henson. I can't help but think that maybe he did hold a little bit of magic.
I can't say enough about this book and do it justice. Everyone just needs to read it. Best book of the year.....by far.
