The Story of Lansing Lotte is the second book in the Legendary Rock Stars series by LB Dunbar. It is necessary to read the first book, The Legend Of Arturo King, before beginning Lansing's story.

In case you haven't figured it out from the titles of the books, this series is a modern take on the story of King Arthur. I knew of King Arthur's tale, but these books made me curious and so I had to do a little extra research. I love a book that teaches me something, while also helping me to escape from real life!

At the end of the first book, I was left stunned and wanting more. I needed to know what happened to Arturo! Was he alive? Dead? Kidnapped? I went into this book expecting some answers right away... and while some of my questions about Arturo were answered, this book focuses mainly on Lansing Lotte. Among fans of The Nights, Lansing is known as the "Lady Killer". In this book, he lives up to his name.  Guinie. Elaine. Lila. Layne. Throughout most of the book, I really didn't like him all that much. I was frustrated with his decisions, his irresponsibility, his thoughtlessness. However, he did have some redeeming qualities that made me love him in the end. His interactions with Fleur were super sweet. And the song... absolute perfection.

Although I didn't enjoy this book quite as much as Arturo's story, I did really like it. It's sexy. It's a love story... Or love stories. It has mystery. Suspense. Oh, and rock stars. The Legendary Rock Stars series has a little bit of everything and I definitely recommend these books. But I still have so many questions!! I am most definitely looking forward to reading the next book in the series to learn the story of Perkins Vale. Out of all of the characters, he has intrigued me the most!
